A 300-year-old half-timbered house near Oberkirch, where our headquarters are located, was renovated by the owners with a great deal of personal effort and fitted with HIRAM solid wood planks made from silver fir wood.
Country home, Blackforest, Germany
Walls, ceilings, roofs and floors made from Silver fir wood are experiencing a renaissance! The homeowners of this country house opted for a modular full wood structured house, of which the wall and ceiling sections are made entirely of wood without use of any chemical glues. In keeping with the “only wood” principle, solid wooden floorboards from Hiram made of silver fir were chosen.
