Oak is our customers’ favourite – for good reason: It is versatile, robust and an excellent choice for private and public spaces. With proper care, the stain of the Oak planks will last for generations.
The distinctive leaves, the grain, the everlasting beauty that grows slowly over time – the oak is a tree that grows up to 50 metres high and stands out in the forest due to its distinctive gnarled branches. Oak is one of the most widespread trees in Central Europe and the unspoken symbol of the German forest.
We source our Oak wood in sustainably managed forest in Eastern and Central France. An oak tree grows for 120 to 200 years – until it is felled and further processed into flooring.
Oak flooring is elegant, robust and timeless. We manufacture solid and engineered wide planks, which can be up to 40 cm wide and 13 m long with or without a factory finish. Click here to discover our reference projects!

Engineered Floorboards
Our engineered Oak floorboards are a more functional alternative to our solid wood floorboards, especially in cases of lower floor heights and slightly higher fluctuations in room climate. The three layers are always glued crosswise to each other, which "locks" the movement of the three layers. The top layer typically consists of a 4-6 mm thick Oak sawn veneer, depending on the total thickness of the floorboards.
- ideally suited to underfloor heating
- Made with traditional craftsmanship
- Laminated veneer can be polished
- high quality floor with central core and back layer made from rift-&quarter- sawn Spruce wood
- high durability due to 4.5–6 mm top layer
- can be sanded 2 or 3 times
- lasts at least one or two generations
- special formats possible up to 300 mm in width and 10 m in length
- limited open joint formation and high dimensional stability
- Wood from sustainable forestry, domestic species of wood
- can be glued in place
Oak flooring is robust and suitable for all interior spaces, including the kitchen, bathroom or hallway. Higher point loads naturally require more care. Therefore, please note the care instructions.

Colouring and surfaces
When deciding on oak flooring, there are various options in terms of color and finish. Oak has its unique character that can be highlighted through sanding or brushing, and can create a wide range of visual effects. Extra-white oak floorboards offer a modern, timeless look and create a welcoming atmosphere. In contrast, dark brown, oiled floorboards offer a rustic and cozy feel. Proper care is crucial for the longevity of the floorboards, and light-colored surfaces must be maintained to prevent them from darkening over time.

Knot grading, texture and grain
Each tree has its own unique characteristics and qualities that make it special. When used as flooring, these characteristics can create a harmonious balance with the space and the people who use it.
The appearance of the plank floor is defined by the natural wood characteristics such as colour, knottiness and other features. To guarantee a high quality product, every tree and every plank is assessed and sorted according to our quality criteria. Knots and other defects are fixed and filled. This results in an even, beautiful surface.
Country Classic
The "Country Classic" grading has a healthy knot pattern with a higher number of knots, also depending on the total length and width of the floorboards. Natural colour differences may occur.
Urban Classic
The "Urban Classic" grading has a calm and elegant appearance, with few and small knots. The lack of knots provides a clean and sleek look, and the fine matured texture gives a sophisticated touch to the flooring.
